Is your child on-track with their development?

Some days, you are so frustrated with your child being frustrated.

Your child shows their frustration through BIG EMOTIONS.

I’m so confused as to how I can help them make sense of the world around them.

They don’t learn the same way as other kids.

Not only are you worried, but you are unsure how to connect with your child – when it looks so easy for ‘everyone else.’

As a parent or caregiver, you know your child best. When they point to items,  you understand they have their language or certain names others will not understand. You might ask other parents, relatives, or even the doctor what to do. They might tell you not to worry until your child is older, and they might be correct.

But what if they aren’t?

You may think things like: “I feel guilty waiting” or “How will I know or be sure of what to do?”

You know your child best. You don’t have to wait and see if you think there might be a problem, and you don’t have to guess if your child will catch up.

You can have your child seen by a speech-language pathologist or occupational therapist who will personally talk to you about your concerns and evaluate your child’s developmental abilities while addressing key concerns and strategies.

Trust yourself, trust your feelings, trust your therapists.

Help is available, and we’re here to guide and support you in the right direction.
